I just put up the I dream of Jeanie costume that is our inspiration for the CDF costumes. We'll be wearing pants instead though since it's about a thousand times easier to make than a circle skirt and we'd have to make pants anyway because it's sheer fabric. We thought the dingleberry fringe would be easier to find in a zillion colors too.
So now we have the music, the costumes and partial choreography. Can you say starting early?

Tue, May 17, 2005 - 12:55 PMJust an FYI - Our "Official Photographer" from last year had to pay to get in. So did the parents of the one underage dancer we had (one of Red's students). It was a good time, though. I kept getting snagged for pictures because I was the dancer in bedlah. Red did all the planning and I was in all the photos. THIS YEAR WILL BE DIFFERENT! (^_^)

Mon, May 9, 2005 - 8:07 AMThis is the goofiest festival I've been to! They have tons of diaramas of corndogs done to varios themes. They also have "cigarette" girls in tutus and sky high heels selling the handmade souvenirs. Oh and a HUGE corndog cake.
And it all started from a birthday party. -
